She also has strong experience working in the education, health, and trade sectors.

Project Idea:

Jane plans to create a project that will economically empower people with physical disabilities to gain employment, run sustainable and profitable enterprises, and access skills training in vocational centers. Her Fellowship project will enhance persons with disabilities’ awareness and access to gainful employment in the public and private sectors. It will also address barriers that restrict entrepreneurs with disabilities from accessing finances and markets, and connect them to financial institutions.

Jane’s project will also help Kenyans with disabilities strengthen business skills and access capital by leveraging vocational rehabilitation centers and support groups. She will draw upon her extensive management experience and strong connections within Kenya’s disability, education and business communities to create the project. She plans to partner with employer associations, NGOs, DPOs, trade support institutions, and financial institutions.
