Mashukura Kabwogi Habibu spent her Fellowship at the Paul V. Sherlock Center on Disabilities at Rhode Island College.
The Sherlock Center is a highly respected research institution with extensive expertise in inclusive employment and is officially designated by the U.S. government as a University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD).
Located in Providence, RI, the Sherlock Center is widely respected for its work to promote inclusion and improve higher education for PWD. The center has also been a national leader in developing strategies to improve community awareness about disability, inclusive employment and the potential of PWD. Their programs offer many exciting activities and lessons that can be applied to change attitudes and practices in different environments.
