After an exciting and impactful experience hosting the first cohort of fellows in the Professional Fellows Program on Inclusive Disability Employment (PFP-IDE), AUCD, ICI, and HI are thrilled to introduce the second cohort of fellows who will be traveling to the U.S. this month. This cohort of fellows includes young professionals from Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda who are passionate about enhancing inclusive employment opportunities in their home countries.
- Angela Samson Massamu is from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and will be spending her fellowship at JFK Partners at the University of Colorado, Denver, and the Colorado Developmental Disabilities Council.
- Jeremiah Lwebuga is from Kampala, Uganda and will be spending his fellowship at the University of Alaska, Anchorage, Center for Human Development.
- Gwaliwa Peter Mashaka is from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and will be spending her fellowship at the Human Development Center of Louisiana State University’s Health Sciences Center.
- Eveline Nelson Machau is from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and will be spending her fellowship at the Center for Development and Disability at the University of New Mexico.
- Evalyne Njeri Njuguna is from Nairobi, Kenya, and will be spending her fellowship at the Virgin Islands University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD).
- Esther Allen Nakamwa is from Kampala, Uganda and will be spending her fellowship at the Institute on Disability and Human Development (IDHD) at the University of Illinois Chicago.
- David Nangosi is from Kampala, Uganda and will be spending his fellowship at the Center for Learning and Leadership (CLL) at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
- Brian Malika is from Kakamega Town, Kenya and will be spending his fellowship at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community.
- Peter Ogik is from Jinja, Uganda and will be spending his fellowship at the Institute on Disability and Human Development (IDHD) at the University of Illinois Chicago.
- Wyclif Owuor Oguma is from Eldoret, Kenya and will be spending his fellowship at the Ohio State University Nisonger Center.
